Timashion is a visionary filmmaker and entrepreneur dedicated to using the power of film to strengthen people’s relationships with God and each other. His filmmaking journey began in 2011 when he co-founded Framed by Grace Films alongside his two business partners. This production team embarked on a mission to inspire and uplift audiences through their cinematic creations.
Their debut film, “A Love that Hurts,” premiered in 2013, capturing hearts and igniting conversations about the complexities of love and faith. The film currently has over 4 million views on youtube. The team’s sophomore project, the compelling documentary “Cody High: A Life Remodeled Project,” received widespread acclaim and earned them three Emmy Awards including “Best Documentary” in 2016. Continuing their impactful work, they released “Life In Osborn”, further resonating with audiences and amplifying important stories of community resilience and strategic partnerships.

In 2016, Timashion ventured into new territory by launching TBOP (The Body Of Praize) Media. Through this platform, he aspires to help individuals discover their own visionary potential. As part of TBOP Media's film projects, Timashion made his directorial debut with the thought-provoking movie "Saving Chastity." A partnership with the non- profit organization "The Yunion" they completed the film in September 2018, this powerful film addresses the challenges faced by two high school seniors as they navigate the complexities of teenage life, with a focus on sexual risk avoidance.

In his quest for storytelling, Timashion embarked on a captivating journey through Africa, documenting historic sites in Ethiopia and exploring the wonders of Cairo and Luxor, Egypt. The resulting documentary, "Africa: Through The Eyes Of A Visionaire, " showcases his unique perspective and his love for history. This film is currently seeking distribution opportunities.

In 2019 Timashion produced and directed “Hope 911” a film that explores the traumas, and tragedies that place adolescents and teens at risk of suicide.

In 2021, Timashion continued to demonstrate his versatility as a filmmaker by producing and directing the inspiring movie "Sticks and Stones, " centered around young individuals overcoming the challenges of bullying. Building on this success, he continued to push boundaries in 2022 with the production and direction of feature-length documentaries, including "Aired Out Quilts" Highlighting 10 historic Detroit neighborhoods and "Die Willie Die" a film that addresses mental health in BIPOC communities.

Timashion also shares his expertise in filmmaking through his own online course, where he teaches local and international students. As a testament to their skills, his filmmaking students created the short film "Wanted Love, " a thrilling story about a dream date that turns into a nightmare when an introverted, single woman discovers that her charming suitor is a wanted man.

In 2024, Timashion is directing his crown jewel project, "Introducing Marcus Belgrave." This documentary portrays the life and impact of a master musician who quietly shifted the world of Black American Music from behind the scenes. The film tells the story through the words of his fellow musicians, loved ones, and students.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Timashion finds fulfillment in his personal life. He has been happily married to his queen, Taivia Jones, for over 23 years. Their love story began during their high school days at Communication's and Media Arts in Detroit. They were crowned Prom King and Queen, respectively. They both have 2 beautiful teenage children.
